People have presuppositions, and they will live more consistly on the basis of these presuppositions than even they may realize.

By presuppositions we mean the basic way
an individual looks at life, his basic
world view, the grid through
which a person considers
to be the truth of what
exists.

People's presuppositions lay a grid for all they
bring forth into the external world.
Their presuppositions also provide the basis for their
values and therefore the basis for their decisions.    Francis Schaeffer

Your Biblical Worldview

A biblical worldview is the grid through which one interprets the world and life itself. It is a firm and absolute belief that the Bible is the absolute source of moral truth.

The key beliefs that proceed from a Biblical Worldview are the 5 Sola's, which summarizes the core beliefs of the Reformation, as well as the foundation of Evangelical Theology:

1. Sola Scriptura: Scripture alone

2. Sola Gratia: Grace alone

3. Sola Fide: Faith alone

4. Solus Christus: Christ alone

5. Soli Deo Gloria: Glory to God alone

A biblical worldview helps us gain a sense of the world we live in and our place in it. It provides an elementary understanding of life as seen through the grid of God's redemption through Jesus Christ. It also provides the framework for ethical thinking and decision-making. It presents hope and confidence in Scripture's Truths, connecting us with the living and eternal God.

A biblical worldview helps us understand the meaning of life, the sinful nature of mankind, and the reality of life after death, which is made possible by the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It gives us the means by which to develop a deep, comprehensive faith in Christ.
